Meilenstein wants to protect your privacy.

We hope the following information helps you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

You can use our web pages, without having to provide data about your person. However we reserve the right to grant entry to certain ranges only to users who let themselves be registered before. You assure us that you truthfully indicate complete and current information on the form of register.

Our software has no means within the program to identify users, nor to record or report information about program use other than the data you explicitly transfer for registration purposes. The program does not utilize any Internet tracking, other than to redirect users to the Televio or Meilenstein website if you choose to. An Internet connection is not required to use our software.

Meilenstein may also use cookies when you access our website, to identify you as a Meilenstein user, and to set the language preference when you return to our website. Of course, you can always access our website with your browser set to ignore cookies. Please note that some of our web store features may not work, though.

Data Communication With Our Web Store

Meilenstein uses a safe on-line transmission method, the so-called "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) transmission, in order to process your personal data. Most browsers support this transmission method. All information transmitted with this safe method is coded, before it is sent to us. Thus it is guaranteed that no unauthorized person can use your data.

With Meilenstein all customer information is stored on safe servers, which are not accessible for unauthorized persons and which are protected by a "Firewall" against access from outside.

Please keep in mind that we currently cooperate with ShareIt! to process your orders, so yor data may actually be processed by ShareIt!

Software registration

We kindly ask you to register all Meilenstein software products with our registration database. We request your name, street address and email address to determine the number of unique people using our products. We may also use this information to keep you informed about Meilenstein developments, with your permission, of course. Likewise, you can optionally choose to be kept informed of Meilenstein product news.

Of course we delete all personal on your request if you change your decision.

Keeping of the data

With Meilenstein your satisfaction and the protection of your privacy are standing in the first place. We use your personal data exclusively to implement your orders, to make a more comfortable purchase possible to you and to inform you about future product improvements.

If you place an order, we ask you for personal information, e.g. your name, your e-mail address, your delivery address, your bank and/or credit card data. Thus we can work on and implement your order immediately.

If you do not like that we use your data for future customer information, we delete your data after completion of your order and/or your inquiry or if requested at a later time.

Passing on to third persons

If you do provide us with your name and email address, you can rest assured that we will not resell this information to third parties. We do not share our customer information with other companies.

Meilenstein is committed to data security to prevent unauthorized access, and to ensure proper use of information.

Your agreement

The use of our website is considered as your agreement for the collection and the use of this information on the part of Meilenstein. If we decide to change our guidelines concerning privacy and data security we will publish the changes on this side. Thus you can always find out which information we collect, how we collect them and under which circumstances we use them.

Laws

The Meilenstein Software GmbH declares that personal data is processed exclusively in the context of the laws of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) as well as the German Teleservice Data Protection Act (TDDSG).
